IMPORTANT NOTICE – CHAPTER ELECTION POSTPONEMENT
Dear Sonoma County Members,
We hope that you are doing well and staying healthy
Last week the SEIU 1021 Executive Board passed a resolution to postpone all new chapter elections and made a strong recommending to suspend all current elections.
On that recommendation, our Chapter Election Committee has agreed to suspend our current election for the Vice President position, effective April 8, 2020.
We are currently mid way through the nomination period, which was due to close on April 21st. Once the shelter in place order has been lifted and we all return to the workplace, the Election Committee will send out an announcement with a revised election timeline. Should the shelter in place order continue beyond May 31st, we will re-evaluate to determine the best course of action
