RSVP for Our Alameda County Day of Action!
Tuesday, September 15
We’ve been at the bargaining table with management for MONTHS. We’ve gotten a lot of big wins, with nearly 30 tentative agreements so far, but management still wants us to pay more for healthcare and wants us to settle for lower wages than we know we deserve.
It’s time for us to get this done! No matter where you work in the County, join our Day of Action on September 15. We’ll be at 1221 Oak St. all day: join us for coffee before work or on your break, and for a lunchtime action from noon to 1 p.m.!
If you can’t make it downtown that day, make sure you and all your co-workers wear your purple! Take photos and email them to chris.flink [@]seiu1021.org so we can share them widely!
This Day of Action Is Our Chance to Get What We Need for Ourselves, Our Families, Our Co-Workers, and Our Community!
What We Are Proposing, What We Have Agreed To
We are preparing a major counter-offer to present management on Tuesday, September 1. This will focus on a fair wage and helping our members afford healthcare.
You can review an updated list of signed tentative agreements (TAs) here: https://www.seiu1021.org/article/updated-tentative-agreement-list.
