“Quality student-centered education depends on the stability and fair compensation of faculty,” said SEIU 1021 Chapter Treasurer and SCU Teaching Professor, Madeline Cronin. “We are fighting for a fair contract because we want to ensure the future of this valuable mission driven education.”

“It’s really important for universities to prioritize resources to support the reason we exist as an educational institution: to offer a transformative experience for students in every single classroom, seminar, lab, and studio. By signing this petition for a fair contract, many community voices can join together to support the hard-working teaching faculty who, along with their tenured colleagues, shape learning journeys and career outcomes for all SCU students day in and day out, ” said SCU Teaching Professor, Dept of Theatre & Dance, Kristin Kusanovich.
