SEIU 1021

On May 1, show up for working people wherever you are!
Put WORKERS over BILLIONAIRES

Article

Friday, May 1 is May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day. This year, SEIU 1021 members need to turn out in record numbers to help get our country back on track. As a direct result of Trump’s control in Washington, D.C., our members are facing layoff threats and our country is at war in the Middle East once again.

It’s time for the working class to flex its muscle and show that a better, saner world is possible. That’s why, across the state and across the country, we’ll be rallying, marching, boycotting, and even striking, to show that we’re the ones who get the work done. Without us, the whole system falls apart. On May Day, it’s on us to remind the world of that fact.

If you want us out of pointless, destructive wars, find a May Day action near you and get involved. If you want to protect your job from cruel cuts, find a May Day action near you and get involved. If you think working people deserve a say in the work they do, and that everyone deserves to live in a society of justice, equity, and opportunity, find a May Day action near you and get involved.
