SF RN bargaining team election
2027
This is a challenging time for city workers. The city is facing down a large budget deficit, and Mayor Lurie has shown himself all too eager to cut public services—and city jobs—rather than working with city workers to generate new revenue and ensure that the big corporations benefiting from San Francisco’s infrastructure and workforce pay their fair share to keep the city running and thriving.
Because city workers across departments and unions stood together and made our voices heard about what San Francisco would lose without the services we provide, together we succeeded in saving hundreds of permanent civil service jobs from Mayor Lurie’s proposed layoffs in both 2025 and 2026.
Every chapter is represented on the bargaining team in proportion to the size of the chapter.
Delegates will be elected by chapter; the highest vote recipient in a classification will be a delegate on the team.
The Election Committee will be responsible for resolving disputes related to the election. The Election Committee will be comprised of:
- Kristin Hardy, SEIU 1021 San Francisco Regional Vice President
- Katie Aschero, SEIU 1021 Member, SF General Hospital
- Aaron Cramer, SEIU 1021 Member, SF General Hospital
