Election season is in full swing and we have many updates regarding our efforts including a rally on Oct. 22 titled, “Defend the Vote”.

All members including chapter leaders employed by the City and County of San Francisco, nonprofits in San Francisco, SF Superior Courts, SFUSD, and the City College District of SF are invited and should attend.

1. MOU Committee Reconstitution – Oumar & Supervisors

• To effectively address the issues impacting members through the JLMC process.
• MOU Committees: 
• Review MOU for definition and composition
• Number of delegates (Bargaining Team & Rank in file representation)- To be determined.
• Bargaining Team members have priority

2. RN Contract Bargaining Update – Nato

• Current bargaining status and campaign developments.
• Building support from other bargaining units, including Citywide and SFMTA members.

 3. Defend the Vote Rally – Phelicia Jones – SEJ Member

• October 22, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
• Membership turnout goals.
• Worksite outreach and mobilization plan.

 4. Political Program Updates

• Phone banking – Membership participation. 
• District canvassing:

• Local ballot measures and endorsed candidates.
• Impacts on members and public services.
