SEIU 1021 Racial Justice Roundtable
Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 6:30 pm on Facebook Live
The recent murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud
Arbrey are painful reminders of why our union committed in 2016
to becoming an antiracist organization and tackling anti-Black
racism. There can be no justice without racial justice.
Every day, SEIU 1021 members fight together for issues that
matter to our families. At this moment, when we are seeing the
disparate impact of COVID-19 on communities of color, the
shameful bigotry being directed at people of Asian and Pacific
Island heritage, and the never-ending violence against Black
people by police, we must unite.
We need to join together to fight for our future.

That’s why, on June 9, SEIU 1021 will be hosting a Racial Justice Roundtable on our Facebook page.
This conversation will create space for us to process, provide
support, and create space for us to discuss what’s
happening and what we can do in this moment.
More details to follow, but plan to tune in to our
Facebook page at 6:30 pm next Tuesday. You
can RSVP here.
