Dear SEIU 1021 Convention Delegates and Alternate Delegates,

Congratulations on being selected as an SEIU Local 1021 Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the 2018 Member Convention.

You play a critically important role in our upcoming convention. Delegates will be voting on changing member roles so that we can thrive in an open-shop environment. To be effective, we estimate the transformation process requires several in-person workshop meetings to prepare. As part of the responsibility of being selected, Convention Delegates are required to attend two Summer Workshops in advance of the September 22-23 Member Convention.

During our Summer Workshops, Delegates will learn about, discuss and provide feedback on models for change that will then be voted on at the convention. These are important in-person meetings.
