San Francisco Unified School District Classified Workers Reach Tentative Agreement on Game-Changing Contract
BIG NEWS!! Yesterday, our SEIU 1021 bargaining team at SFUSD finally reached a tentative agreement with the District to settle on a new three-year contract!
After a year of bargaining, a 99.7% ‘yes’ strike vote, and the
hard work of our bargaining team and committed members turning
out for actions and attending open bargaining
sessions; this will be the strongest contract with the
District we’ve ever had, if we vote to ratify.
Your bargaining team recommends a YES vote.
This historic contract will help close the gap between SFUSD and
the City to improve retention and
recruitment, give critical relief to the staffing
crisis, and help SFUSD classified staff keep up with the rising
cost of living.
Details about the ratification process will be coming out very
soon!
While we have reached a tentative agreement, we still stand with
our siblings at UESF and the Building Trades and are ready to
honor their picket lines in solidarity if necessary.
TENTATIVE AGREEMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
- 16% raise effective at ratification
- Retro pay to July 1, 2022
- 6% increase effective July 1, 2022
- 10% increase effective July 1, 2023
