We all know our democracy is under an attack like never before. And with federal budgets like we’ve seen recently, including the Big Ugly Bill, our jobs are at stake, too. Those are just two of the reasons we all must do our part to help YES ON 50 win!

To help us do this, we’re hosting a Town Hall online via Zoom with Congresswoman Lateefah Simon and other unions on Monday, October 20 at 5:30 p.m.

Congresswoman Simon and SEIU 1021 President Theresa Rutherford, along with other elected officials and union leaders, will give our perspectives and answer questions provided by those who attend. I would be honored if you joined us for this exciting opportunity to engage union members, their families, and other California voters on the necessity and urgency of passing Prop 50 in this November’s special election.

We will record and share the Town Hall widely as part of our work on this important YES ON 50 campaign. The questions and answers shared on Monday will inform and motivate us as we get the vote out between now and Election Day on November 4.
