Join the May Day Strong Solidarity Cookout on May 1, 2026, from 2–7 PM at Lake Redding Park (BBQ picnic area) for an afternoon of food, community, and collective action. This gathering brings together workers, families, and community members to celebrate International Labor Day and stand in unity for working-class power.

The event centers on building solidarity, breaking down barriers, and pushing back against economic inequality, with a shared message of “Workers Over Billionaires.”

Attendees are also encouraged to take part in a call to action by supporting organizing efforts— including connecting with Starbucks workers seeking to unionize—making this both a celebration and an opportunity to contribute to ongoing labor movements.
