Join SEIU 1021 at the Women’s March
We'll be talking to voters about getting Schools & Communities First on the ballot.
The Women’s March is an international protest taking
place in communities across California for human rights
and against increasing violence against women, gay and
transgender people, Muslims, Jews and communities of color.
Together we will take a stand for reproductive rights,
climate justice, immigrants, Black Lives and gender
equality. What better opportunity to talk to our
friends and neighbors about justice for our children, our
communities, and our future?
“When big corporations use shady tax loopholes to avoid
paying their fair share, it hurts us all. That’s why, in
the spirit of the Women’s March and our ongoing fight
against injustice everywhere, it’s essential to get Schools
& Communities First on the ballot. Imagine what restoring
$12 billion each year could do for our schools,
first responders, parks, libraries, public transportation,
health clinics and much more,”
said Karla Faucett, SEIU 1021 Sacramento City
Unified School District Chapter President.
Join fellow SEIU 1021 members on Saturday, January 18 at the
Women’s March nearest you for an exciting day of rallying for
justice in our communities and collecting signatures to put
Schools & Communities First on the ballot.
