SEIU 1021 Richmond Members Are Standing Up for a Fair Contract
After meeting with City negotiators and rallying to send City Council a strong message, we have three important updates for SEIU 1021 City of Richmond members.
- We are back at the bargaining table with City negotiators, after our members voted down the previous tentative agreement. Winning a strong contract will require all our members to stand together, so don’t forget to wear your SEIU 1021 purple every Tuesday and stay tuned for future actions.
- City Council unanimously approved the holiday closure. The City will close from December 24 to January 1. SEIU 1021 members will need to take time off for December 26, 27, and 30: the City will cover December 24, 25 and 31, and January 1.
