People are dying at the border and in detention centers, and the moral fiber of our society hangs in the balanced tipped by a hateful administration. What we do—or don’t do—now will echo for decades to come. Around the country, communities are holding vigils to say NO to inhumane migrant detention. Please join us at the Yuba County Jail, and has contracted with ICE to detain approximately 170 immigrants. It is the last remaining detention center in Northern California.

Bring a sign or an electric candle, and come meet advocates and organizers from a number of local organizations engaged in the fight for human rights. We are demanding: • Close the detention center and stop the inhumane detention of migrants • Pass AB 32, which would stop the CA Department of Corrections from entering or renewing contracts with for-profit, private facilities.
