With a decisive 86% YES vote, we have sent a powerful, undeniable message of unity to management. We stood together, we fought together, and now we have secured a victory that delivers real economic progress and stronger rights for our future.
A NEW CHAPTER: 2025–2028

By ratifying this agreement, we have locked in a 33-month contract (October 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028) that respects our work and protects our livelihoods.

LOOK AT WHAT WE WON TOGETHER:

  • Guaranteed Economic Growth: We secured annual Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) with guaranteed minimums for every single year of the contract to keep up with inflation
  • Major Shift Differential Gains: The Graveyard Shift differential is jumping up to 9.5%
  • New Paid Holiday: We have won formal recognition of Juneteenth as a designated holiday
  • Protecting Your Record: We won the power to clean up your personnel file! You now have the right to seal written reprimands after 2 years and request their complete removal after 4 years

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

We are moving immediately to finalize this win. The agreement now goes to the Board of Port Commissioners for final adoption. Once approved, all wage increases will be retroactive to the effective dates.
