SEIU Local 1021 has recently signed a tentative agreement with Contra Costa County management to reclassify SSPA (Social Services Program Assistant) positions as Eligibility Worker positions. The agreement is attached. This reclassification will help hundreds of our chapter members. 

In coming days, we will be holding a special meeting via Zoom to discuss the agreement and the next steps needed to roll out these changes for our members. Stay tuned for details!
