The Mayor has offered all City Unions a 4-year extension with a guaranteed 12% increase and no layoff guaranteed until 2029. There will also be a super-charged citywide Labor Management Committee to address major worksite issues that may come up throughout the length of the extension. Each union and bargaining unit will deliberate and decide whether or not to accept this offer. 

Due to federal and state-level funding cuts and the city’s lagging recovery, the Mayor believes this extension is designed to support the city’s economic recovery, provide some financial certainty and job security for the city’s workforce. 

On Thursday, September 24th from noon to 2pm at the Union Hall, representatives from SFMTA Management and the Mayor’s office will come to speak about this offer and answer any questions from members of Service Critical Bargaining unit. Join us!
