Your bargaining team met with San Joaquin County today to give the final new proposals (see attachment by clicking the PDF link on this page). Now the team is committed to setting priorities. We received preliminary salary survey information from the County, and that now needs to be taken into consideration.

Your team is committed to getting the most money for all of our members. This is where prioritizing proposals comes in. Again, remember that these are just proposals, it takes an agreement with the County for these to become a real and tangible thing. 

One bit of news that your team took from today, the County has not put any wage or benefit takeaways on the table. We next meet with the County on Wednesday, March 25, where the County will make a financial presentation to the bargaining team.
