Your bargaining team met with San Joaquin County  today and made the following proposals (see attachment on this page).  There was also a presentation made to both the team and the County regarding the Educational (ED) Fund. The ED Fund would benefit every member should they choose to use it, but only if the County starts contributing to the fund. Your team will be making a proposal at the next bargaining meeting with the County in March.  

The dialogue with the County continues to be positive in the opinion of your bargaining team.  However, the County has stated that they have not costed out all of the proposals yet, so we will see if that changes or not.   

Again, we want to stress that even though we have made proposals, it takes the County to agree for them to become a reality. Please watch out for worksite meetings to speak with your bargaining team member or field staff and get additional updates/questions answered.
