Bargaining update #15

Today your bargaining team met with the County, and we believe that we have an agreement in place for a new contract. While nothing has been signed (the County has to get final board approval) here are details of the verbal agreement:
Wage increases:
- 4% in year 1
- 4% in year 2
One -time money payment on the second paycheck in November 2026, $600 for full-time members, $300 for part-time members
Juneteenth as an additional floating holiday (we now have 5 floating holidays)
Longevity pay:
- 1% at 10 years
- 2% at 15 years
- 3% at 20 years (If you are already receiving the current 2% at 20, you will get a 1% increase.)
Once we meet on Wednesday, July 1, we will have documents for all to look at, and will start giving details on ratification voting.
