Nominations due Jan. 11th. Voting Feb 1st - 4th.

Nominations shall be accepted via email to Gary.Jimenez@seiu1021.org starting December 9th, 2020 and must be received no later than Monday, January 11th, 2021 by 5:00pm.

The Election Committee is Bettie Reed-Smith, Deborah Britt and Darryl Malone. 44 years ago, Henrietta Lee started her journey working for the city of San Francisco as a Senior Clerk Typist at Youth Guidance Center and she has never looked back. Dominican University adjuncts secure massive settlement for workers during difficult times

SEIU 1021 members at Dominican University recently showcased the power of our union, as they were able to secure a settlement totaling around $750,000 for their members during recent negotiations.

Adjunct faculty at the university were negotiating their second contract as members of SEIU 1021, having joined our union in early 2015. Adjunct professors often have considerable less security than tenured, full-time faculty, making the power of a union essential in their fights for improved wages and benefits.
