Port of Oakland management thinks it’s fair to ask SEIU 1021 members to endure layoffs or up to 16 unpaid furlough days while they sit on more than 70 million dollars in reserves. It’s not fair, and it will make our jobs less safe, and we won’t stand for it.

After months of negotiating in the midst of a global pandemic, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve reached a tentative agreement (TA) with management at the City of Berkeley.

Please vote on whether to accept the Tentative Agreement. Your Bargaining Team recommends a YES vote.
Voting is limited to SEIU 1021 NDNU Chapter members only. Vote only once. Your name and other contact information will be used only to verify your eligibility to vote, and your vote will be anonymous.
Voting will open Monday, July 6, at 10 a.m. Pacific time, and close Wednesday, July 8, at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Votes submitted outside these times will not be counted. Results will be announced on Wednesday, July 8, at 5 p.m.
