‘Tis the season to celebrate! Join your fellow SCUSD members for a holiday celebration.
Please join us Friday, December 8th, at 5450 Power Inn Rd., from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. for an evening of fun, free food and drinks, and a gift exchange!
If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped gift of $5-$10 to get a gift ticket. When the number on your ticket is called, you can pick any gift on the pile!
Please RSVP by December 4th so that we can be sure to have enough food.

On Thursday, November 16, over 60 classified Vacaville Unified School District (VUSD) staff members again attended the Board of Trustees meeting to voice their ongoing concerns and frustrations with the District. This follows the November 2 action, where at least 60 members supported each other and shared their frustration with the lack of progress in bargaining due to the District’s ongoing refusal to raise wages above the bare minimum.
San Francisco Unified and Sacramento Unified School District SEIU 1021 members ratify historic contracts, keep momentum going
As we move into the holiday season, there is much to celebrate and rejoice over. Unions are winning their strongest contracts yet in school districts across Northern California. And, while several districts remain in bargaining, there is good reason to think that the positive trend of historic contracts will continue through to the new year!

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - On Thursday, November 16, SEIU 1021 San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) members voted to ratify a new three-year contract with a 96% ‘yes’ vote. This contract is the strongest agreement SFUSD custodians, student nutrition service workers, and clerical workers have ever had with the District.

SFUSD Ratification Vote Dates and Locations
It's time to vote!
The next and final phase of the contract bargaining process is
called the ratification vote. This will begin on Monday,
November 13 at 9:00 a.m. and last until Wednesday, November 15 at
5 p.m. Your Bargaining Team and Contract Action Team members will
be visiting all school sites to gather your vote.
