Advanced Steward II in Sacramento

Stewards who wish to develop their skills in putting arguments together and presenting cases as well as writing grievances are invited to attend. Intermediate Steward Training is a pre-requisite.

Intermediate Steward Training in Sacramento

For those who already know the basics, this course looks closer at grievances and investigations, the tests of just cause, dealing with management, and the union’s right to information.
Basic Steward Training in Sacramento

Designed for new stewards, this course focuses on the rights and roles of union leaders, legal protections for stewards, problem-solving 101, and Weingarten rights.
ALCO General Chapter Meeting Via Zoom
Video Conference into the meeting from home and participate.
October 11th will be the first attempt at ALCO GENERAL CHAPTER having a zoom/meeting where members can sit at the home computer and log in to participate at chapter meeting. This is a pilot, 100 people can participate and we will track how successful it is. This came from the membership and I want to thank them for the suggestion.
