During our last contract negotiations, the City tried to go back on its word and informed us that they would not provide the child care center that our contracts, both Citywide and RNs, had included.
We took action to enforce our contracts and hold the City accountable. We filed grievances and, in arbitration, the City was found to have violated our contract.

The duties of the Chapter Secretary are as follows:
The Secretary shall keep a correct record of the proceedings of all Chapter Board and General Membership meetings and shall provide a copy thereof to the Secretary of the Local Union upon request. The Secretary shall receive all correspondence and communications on behalf of the Chapter.
Why Are Billionaires Funding a Campaign to Weaken Unions in California?
As working families are gearing up for the holiday season, a billionaire-funded group called the “Freedom” Foundation has launched a campaign to spread misinformation to weaken unions.
Instead of spreading holiday cheer, they are trying to convince workers to weaken our union by telling people to not be members.
