UKIAH, CA – Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, 700 Mendocino County workers – including road crews, public health nurses, and children’s social workers – voted to ratify a union contract with a 77% “yes” vote.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - On Thursday, November 16, SEIU 1021 San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) members voted to ratify a new three-year contract with a 96% ‘yes’ vote. This contract is the strongest agreement SFUSD custodians, student nutrition service workers, and clerical workers have ever had with the District.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - On Tuesday, October 17, the SEIU 1021 San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with management on a new three-year contract. After four years without a raise, a year of bargaining, and a 99.7% ‘yes’ strike vote, the hard work of the bargaining team and committed members turning out for actions and attending open bargaining sessions paid off with the strongest agreement SFUSD classified workers have seen.

Asian Health Services Workers Reach Tentative Agreement, Win Historic Contract

OAKLAND, CA – On September 12th, the SEIU 1021 Bargaining Team of Asian Health Services (AHS) reached a tentative agreement with management to settle on a new three-year contract. After eight months of bargaining, rolling pickets, a 100% ‘yes’ strike vote, strike school with a nearly 70% attendance, and the hard work of the bargaining team and committed members, workers have won their strongest contract with AHS to date.
