9/14 at 11 a.m. in Sacramento: Show up to urge lawmakers to vote YES to $20 minimum wage for fast-food workers!
Come out to support AB 1228!

Exciting news!  Our advocacy and activism have paid off: Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) introduced Assembly Bill 1228 on Monday. AB 1228 will raise the minimum wage for most fast-food workers in the state to $20 an hour by next April. Crucially, the fast-food giants will pull their referendum to repeal last year’s successful FAST Recovery Act off next November’s ballot.

What’s the catch? The bill needs to be passed by the time the Assembly goes into recess at the end of this week. That’s where YOU come in.
