SEIU Local 1021 Contra Costa County Bargaining Update
After meeting twice with County management as part of our union coalition, the County has not yet offered an acceptable economic proposal. To solve our staffing crisis, and to be fair to our dedicated County workers, we must receive a wage proposal that puts us well ahead of skyrocketing inflation and keeps us competitive with other Bay Area employers!

The elected Bargaining Team has met several times with the City, passing 12 proposals to the City’s 7. On Wednesday, May 4, the City gave a presentation about their budget.
Update on return to in-person work negotiations
A few weeks ago the NorCal Outpatient Union Alliance successfully engaged in our first meeting with upper management regarding the mandate that all staff return to the offices five days per week. We are a group of dedicated HR360 outpatient staff who are standing up on behalf of ourselves and our clients to fight for a voice at HR360. Greetings from the 2022 Alameda County Bargaining Team Election Committee! We are pleased to announce the nomination period for our 2022 Alameda County Bargaining Team begins May 6th and will run for 30 days until June 5th. This nomination process marks the commencement steps for negotiations, where members will nominate other members or themselves into positions to represent them at the bargaining table.

I wish I could say I was shocked by this week’s news of the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade. I am a lot of things: I am angry, I am upset, I am heartbroken, I am afraid, I am outraged—but I am not shocked.
