Retiree Council and Chapters

Alameda County Retired Employees (ACRE) – Retired members in the Alameda County Employees 

  •  Retirement Assn (ACERA), retired from jurisdictions of Legacy Local 616.  The ACRE Board meets monthly on the first Monday of the month, at 10:00 AM, at 100 Oak Street, Oakland.  Contact Pete Albert, 510-409-2617, peter.albert@seiu1021.org.  

    ACRE is the oldest organization of retired Alameda County employees, established in 1926.  We have been a chapter of Local 616 of SE

a. Welcome and introductions given.

b. Approval of October’s minutes. Dave Granlich motioned for approval of the minutes. Elizabeth Rapheal seconded it with spelling correction for Tiesha’s name There were no minutes taken for the November meeting and the secretary was not there. And there was no meeting held in December.

c. Cheryl Lott and Tiesha Anderson were not able to make it to the meeting

SEIU 1021 Members Participate in the 2020 Women’s March

On January 18, hundreds of thousands of women and allies hit the streets across the United States and the world. The 2020 Women’s March a women-led movement providing intersectional education on a diverse range of issues and creating entry points for new grassroots activists and organizers.
