Solving Problems On the Job

What is a grievance? Any worksite problem could be a grievance. All violations of the contract are grievances! If you question whether your situation is a grievance, contact your shop steward.

Stewards are assigned to assist in addressing problems members may have on a variety of issues. If you have a question regarding your rights on the job or other member related questions a steward may be able to help.

It’s shameful that the County has not recognized that the workers responsible for helping people get back on their feet are struggling.”
