Sept. 8: The Rise for Climate, Jobs and Justice March is coming to San Francisco
Join us as we march with the labor contingent in a national day of action to demand action and leadership from our elected leaders on climate, jobs, and justice. With our planet, livelihoods, and democracy under attack, labor’s message needs to be loud and clear.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Communication Coordinator, this position is responsible for all aspects of communication in support of SEIU Local 1021 core purposes.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
• Design a strategic campaign plan that accomplishes member goals through traditional and new media platforms. Candidate will be required to present on-going campaign plan to Communications Coordinator with expected deliverables and deadlines.

The Bargaining Team Election Process
Every Chapter is represented on the bargaining team in proportion to the size of the chapter.
Our contract provides for 1 delegate for every 250 employees in each chapter or the fraction therein, in excess of 200 employees in a chapter.
