Welcome to the SF RN Chapter Site
You can write a welcome message here, and we can also use this space to post recent news or other important items.
We can also include a link to the contract here.

Assignment Despite Objection (ADO) Form
The ADO form The ADO Form is an important tool used by registered nurses to formally document circumstances in which the RN believes an assignment they were given is unsafe.
This form is essential for ensuring and documenting unsafe
and dangerous circumstances. The ADO
documents the situation. The ADO form also helps protect a
nurse’s license and shifts the responsibility for dangerous
situations back to management
Click here to access the ADO form.
Forms like ADOs, workplace violence, etc
can all go here with explanations of what they are
Here is where we can provide a list of forms and what they can be used for. As we discussed, these forms would be digitized so folks could fill them out and submit them quickly on a mobile device.
Know Your Rights
Stay Safe at Work
Your union has become aware of health and safety concerns in the City of Oakland, including concerns outside of those normally associated with the work performed in Police and Fire Emergency Communications and Public Works.
We have met with the City, and made it clear to them that the health and safety of our members and their families is a non-negotiable priority. It is the responsibility of every one of us to watch out for any unsafe or unhealthy work assignments, and to speak up when they happen. Here’s how to do that:
Fast-food workers take to Sacramento to demand passage of the FAST Recovery Act
