Cat Members

Contract Action Team Responsibilities

How can 43 people organize 860? — with a ratio of 1:20

  • Each CAT member is responsible for 20 of their coworkers to build understanding and participation.
  • All CAT members work as a team to organize

Building the CAT team!

  • Bargaining power comes for your ability to act as a group.
  • For a strong contract, you need a strong organization of employees.
  • That organization is the Contract Action Team or CAT
  • You need one CAT member for every 20 employees.

Each CAT commits to:
Responsibility: Help 20 specific coworkers understand
and act in support of your union and your contract.

Leadership: Lead by example by acting FIRST in support
of your union and your contract.

Accountability:
Create results and report them to the rest of the CAT.

Teamwork:
Support your other CAT members and act as a group.
