You Have the Right to Organize and Bargain Collectively!
You Have the Right To:
Organize a union & bargain with your employer over wages, benefits & working conditions
Attend union meetings to discuss forming a union
Discuss the union at work, when you are permitted to discuss other non-work issues
Wear union buttons or stickers at work
Read/pass out union info in non-work areas at non-work times
Sign a union card
The Employer Cannot:
Fire, punish, intimidate or coerce employees seeking to organize or join a union
Threaten to close agency or layoff employees if they organize a union
Tell employees that union will take away benefits & privileges currently in workplace
Bribe employees to vote against the union or promise other benefits to influence their vote
Ask about union activities, how employees intend to vote or if they have signed a union card
