Solving Problems On the Job

What is a grievance?

Any worksite problem could be a grievance. All violations of the contract are grievances! If you question whether your situation is a grievance, contact your shop steward.

Stewards are assigned to assist in addressing problems members may have on a variety of issues. If you have a question regarding your rights on the job or other member related questions a steward may be able to help.  For more information, visit the Stewards Manual.

On the Job Injury?

For help with safety hazards or injuries on the job contact your steward. For general information contact OSHA.
