The Discipline Process
3 sessions, 2.5 hours (7.5 hours total)
One of the biggest responsibilities of a shop steward is representing union members who face disciplinary action. Surveys have shown that half of employer disciplines of public employees have no merit. In this intensive, comprehensive course, you'll learn how to talk to (and calm down) members facing discipline, investigate charges, prepare a response to the charges, and present the union case at a Skelly or grievance hearing.
