Stand with 1021 members for free speech in the Sonoma Co. Courts

Our SEIU 1021 brothers and sisters in the Sonoma County Courts are under assault by a management that is forbidding them to wear any sort of union button, t-shirt, or other sign of union affiliation.

Our members are courageously resisting, but they need our solidarity. Written warnings have been issued and disciplinary steps are underway. Management has threatened to take this all the way to termination.

This is setting a critical precedent for union rights in the workplace! What happens in Sonoma could have repercussions at every other worksite in our union!

We need EVERYONE to stand with our members at a Solidarity Rally every Wednesday until we win.

We need to make management understand that they’re not picking a fight with just 165 members in one court, but with 54,000 SEIU members throughout northern California.

This is truly a fight for everyone’s union rights. We cannot allow such a precedent to stand, or we will be facing this everywhere before long. This needs to be beaten back, and hard. Now.

See you on the frontlines on August 29!
