Gov. Brown is proposing a 12 Point Plan for "pension reform" and numerous other groups are out gathering signatures for initiatives to be placed on California's November 2012 ballot. (see the initiatives in the right column under "Current Downloads") Take the SEIU 1021 Secure Retirement survey and add your voice and opinion to what the union should be focusing on with all these proposals coming forward.
It's hard to get people's interest in retirement issues. It always seems so far away to be concerned about. We "Baby Boomers" should be looking long and hard at what Gov. Brown wants to do. Sure it will effect new incoming employees more but everything that effects the money in the pot effects what comes out of it.
