Are you ready to develop the necessary skills to defend public services?City workers from Oakland to Redding to Sutter Creek are coming together on July 19th to share victory strategies, celebrate recent wins, make personal and community connections, and increase our skills to fight for the public services that make our cities safe, healthy, and livable. You don’t want to miss it!
Morning workshops will focus on developing leadership skills, understanding workers rights and developing campaign skills. Afternoon break-outs will focus on connecting with colleagues in other cities, sharing experiences and discussing budget fights, layoffs, and contracting out.
Plenary sessions in the morning and afternoon will feature guest speakers and a celebration of City Workers’ many victories in the past year.
