 Chapter Board

The Chapter Board meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Local 616 office, 155 Myrtle St. (at 3rd St.), Oakland. Dinner is served at the meeting. All chapter members are welcome and encouraged to attend. See calendar for meeting dates.

 ACMC in Brief

Local 616 represents approximately 1,300 registered nurses, hospital clerical staff, and allied health care professionals (dieticians, lab scientists, pharmacists, etc.) at the Alameda County Medical Center.

The Alameda County Board of Supervisors appoints members to the ACMC Board of Trustees, which governs the operations of the three hospitals--Highland, Fairmont, and John George Psychiatric Pavilion--and four clinics--Eastmont, Hayward, Newark and Juvenile Hall. 

The ACMC Board of Trustees meets monthly, usually on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Its standing committees - Finance, HR, Quality Services - also meet monthly. For information about meeting times, locations, and agendas, contact the Clerk of the Board at (510) 618-3310 or via e-mail.
