Alameda County Workers’ Town Hall

Chaper-Townhall-Meeting

SEIU 1021 members working for Alameda County are invited to attend our countywide town hall to examine how to win better lives for our families, our communities and us. Join President Roxanne Sanchez, Executive Director John Stead-Mendez, and Alameda County Chapter leaders to discuss what we learned from the contract extension process and discuss how SEIU 1021 can move forward into the future.

We are facing unprecedented challenges to our rights and our economic security. The Supreme Court will decide the outcome of the billionaire-funded case of Janus vs. AFSCME that threatens to silence the collective voices of public service workers. At our town hall, our union leaders will address local and national challenges, and we’ll strategize on how we can actively become involved and emerge stronger from it. Together, we make our union stronger. United, we can be ready to fight off attacks on our hard-earned pay and benefits and the services we provide to the community.
