Letter to the Editor: “Water district workers earn wages, pensions”

How many times a day do you turn on the tap in your home, turn on the shower, wash dishes, wash clothes or do any of the other ordinary things that depend on a reliable source of clean water?

How often do you think about how that water gets to your home?

It doesn’t happen by magic; a team of hardworking people, from system mechanics and chemists to water quality technicians, trained workers make sure the complex Marin Municipal Water District system works the way it’s supposed to.
