SEIU 1021 Proposes End to Unfair Labor Practice Strike to BART Board of Directors and General Manager Grace Crunican with the Rider First Plan

Oakland, CA – Earlier today BART’s largest unions, SEIU 1021 and ATU 1555, sent a proposal to the BART Board of Directors and General Manager Grace Crunican to put an end to the current unfair labor practice strike.

The letter outlines a clear plan to jumpstart contract talks and get the trains running. The unions urge the Directors and the General Manager to accept the “Rider First Plan,” which lays out a clear path for the trains to run again.
